Test bench control system

The Test Bench Control System is developed in collaboration with Alma Automotive and built on the reliable National Instruments hardware and software architecture, this cutting-edge system offers a multitude of benefits for our valued customers.

Our Test Bench Control System provides users with the flexibility to implement real-time code using compiled Simulink/LabVIEW models, empowering them to achieve efficient and accurate testing outcomes.

With its adaptability to various test system layouts, the system can seamlessly control device speed, torque, and extend its capabilities to manage air, oil, water, and fuel conditioning systems. It enables direct control of actuators in real-time or the ability to dispatch demand targets to external controllers. Additionally, every component of the test cell, including ventilation, fuel supply, fire extinguishing systems, and more, can be directly controlled or remotely managed. The system can effortlessly handle different types of test cell transducers, making it incredibly versatile.

It boasts an array of features, including counters, calculated and user channels, alarms with fully configurable response procedures, and a fully customizable user interface with buttons, LEDs, graphs, and knobs. Furthermore, automatic procedures with conditional steps makes easier the management and control of complex test scenarios.

Unleashing the power of adaptability

One of the key features of the Test Bench Control System is its compatibility with calibration tools such as INCA®, CanAPE®, Sysma®, and Vision®.

The Test Bench Control System interface is based on an open platform, enabling interaction with the indicating system and ECU calibration software.

Our engineering services team specializes in developing automatic calibration procedures, ensuring optimal performance and convenience for our customers.

The interaction between the Test Automation System, the Combustion analyzer, and the calibration management system can be carried out using CAN, XCP, iLinkRT. ECU strategies can be bypassed, using iLinkRT or CAN, with algorithms running on Real-Time platforms. The acquired data can be post-processed using a wide range of industry-standard automotive tools such as Matlab®, LabVIEW®, Diadem®, Wintax®, INCA MDA®, Concerto®, and others.

Overall

The Test Bench Control System is a powerful tool that offers advanced control and data acquisition capabilities, designed to enhance testing capabilities, streamline workflows, and deliver exceptional results.
